Absolutely delicious! The pizza was incredible - loaded with flavor and perfectly baked. Cheese was great too. Fries could use a bit more salt, but still hit the spot. This was our 3rd visit, and we’re already planning to come back to try even more from the menu. 10/10 recommend!

Man, where do I start on my first experience with Penguino's Pizza. This place was suggested to me and I have never heard of it before but pass by every day when I pick up my son from school. I was suggested to try their thin crust pizza as this is what they're known for. when my son and I walked in we were immediately greeted by the owner with a smile and warm welcome. we picked up our pizza and the owner asked if this was our first time. I said yes it was and he was delighted to see us try his pizza out. gave us a couple cans of soda on the house and gave my son a business magnet, which of course he'll be happy to receive it. the owner was extremely polite and super easy to talk to. I told myself his manners and energy alone would make me want to come back, even before trying the pizza (I can appreciate genuine people)... upon trying the food, it was absolutely delicious. sorry, no pictures; my family and I dove right in! we got a large thin crust sausage pizza (sausage chunks were big and filling), a small thin crust cheese pizza, and their bread sticks. unfortunately the bread sticks left a little to be desired. they were soft and nice to eat, but felt they could maybe use some sort of parmesean/garlic butter flavoring (perhaps they have this and I just wasn't aware). regardless I still think all of the food was delicious, and would absolutely come back again. I think the most frustrating part for me was that this place was completely empty on an early Friday evening, for no good reason. the food and the owners manners should have this place packed with a line out the door and whether I'm missing something or not, they deserve and earn all the business they can get 100%. Thank you again to the owner for seeming to be such a great guy, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Ordered 14” Penguino’s Za and added black olives. Total came out to around 32 with tax. Best thin crust pizza I’ve ever had. Their sausage is chunky and juicy, veggies are fresh and as you can see covers the pizza. Will definitely come back for more!

Penguino's Pizza really impressed us! The service was outstanding—friendly, professional, and attentive. Ridas was incredibly generous and made our experience even better by comping our full package 16” pizza with extra toppings! The pizza was fantastic, the BBQ chicken wings and breadsticks were delicious. This was our first visit, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Penguino's!

Besides the pizza and price being great, it's run by a one man army. This isn't some corporate chain restaurant, it's headed by an honest salt of the earth working man who runs his own business. I like to come here with a friend and there's a little table on the side for people like us and he will engage with us like old friends when he isn't working the oven. You come for the pizza and you keep coming back for the humanity that I think that a lot of society has been forgetting about. Places like this deserve all of the business they can handle.

Good Evening People of Earth, I must be writing this review from the afterlife as I am currently in heaven while eating a thin crust Za from Penguino's. If you read this review and end up going to any other pizza place than this, you are basically a moron and should not be able to make decisions for yourself anymore. That being said, Mr. Penguino is the most genuine, kind, and caring owner in the world. He puts care into every square centimeter of each pizza and treats each customer as if they are family. We ordered a thin crust sausage and onion as well as a thin crust tomato and spinach (for my vegetarian mother). I don't even like spinach and tomato and it was the second best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life. If you've made it this far in the review and haven't ordered yet, please seek professional help from a medical specialist. I have attached 3 photographs to demonstrate the perfection of Penguino's Pizza (I apologize that 2 of the 3 pictures feature my father's jeans in them. That's as far away as we could get him from the pizzas before he grabbed into a hot fresh slice)

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? AMAZING!!! I'm originally from Philadelphia and moved to the Midwest. Come to Chicago for school and I was so relieved when I trusted my gut instincts and my heart led me to do business here at Penguino's. I use to work for one of the busiest Italian pizzarias/restaurants in eastern Philadelphia and we were very focused on quality so proudly say that THIS PIZZA IS Aesthetically pleasing and has the rich bold flavors of fine pizza as well as good balance to thr ingredients in his dough. The cook is Perfecto! The portions are BIG. I will spend my money here any day of the week. The owner was also very very nice and professional. 6 stars if I could.. don't let the small building fool you, this is where to go!
